Research Notes on Jaffe-Campanacci Syndrome
Jaffe-Campanacci Syndrome is a rare condition characterized mainly by bone abnormalities, which cause the bones to break easily. The disorder can be manifested by cafe-au-lait spots, mental retardation, hypogonadism or cryptorchidism, and ocular and cardiovascular malformations. The condition was named after Mario Campanacci and Henry Lewis Jaffe, the two pathologists who contributed to the understanding of the different bone tumors.
