Impotence also known as erectile dysfunction, is a condition characterized by the inability to achieve an erection. Causes of impotence can be divided into two categories, physical and psychological causes. Physical causes may involve certain diseases such as diabetes, kidney and neurological disorders. Psychological factors may include depression, stress, anxiety and low self-esteem.
