Hydroquinone Gel or Cream, is indicated for the gradual lightening of skin conditions such as acne spots, freckles, age spots, and other unwanted areas of melanin hyper-pigmentation. Topical application of hydroquinone produces a reversible de-pigmentation of the skin by inhibiting melanin production. Exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light will cause re-pigmentation of lightened areas.
