Human growth hormone (HGH) is a synthetic hormone given to those who are deficient in the naturally occurring human growth hormone. Pituitary tumors and various serious childhood conditions can make a person deficient and in need of supplementation.1 Some researchers say that HGH may slow the aging process in adults of all ages.2
