Research Notes on How to Prevent Trichomoniasis
The best way to prevent getting trichomoniasis is to avoid having sex. If used correctly and on a regular basis, condoms can be an effective prevention measure. If you do develop trichomoniasis, you should get tested for other STDs. Be sure to tell your recent sex partners, so they can be tested also. Talk openly and honestly with your partner about STDs.
