Research Notes on High Cholesterol and Exercise
Exercise has been shown to lower high cholesterol levels while reducing your risk of developing heart disease. By regularly exercising, you can raise HDL cholesterol levels, and reduce LDL cholesterol levels.1 Used in combination with a heart healthy diet, exercise may be helpful in reducing the need for cholesterol-lowering drugs.2
