Research Notes on Hepatitis E
Hepatitis E is a viral hepatitis (liver inflammation) caused by infection with a virus called hepatitis E virus (HEV). HEV is transmitted by the fecal-oral route, frequently waterborne. Hepatitis E is clinically indistinguishable from hepatitis A.
