Research Notes on Hearing Aids
Hearing aids can assist individuals with mild to significant hearing loss. At times additional hearing devices are used to assist a hearing aid. In extreme hearing loss or deafness, cochlear implants are often recommended, and can restore hearing to an almost normal level. Children and people of all ages benefit from hearing aids.
