Antioxidants help reduce the damage done by free radicals in the body.1 Antioxidants help fight off the common cold and even the flu.2 They also help lower LDL cholesterol levels. Another important benefit of antioxidants is they can repair damage from diabetes.3 Antioxidants have also been used to treat brain injuries.1 Overall antioxidants are important for so many aspects of your health.
