Research Notes on Halibut
The halibut is a large flat fish with an average weight of 25-30 pounds.1 Halibut is a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids which help prevent erratic heart rhythms. Two servings of halibut per week is also said to reduce the amount of triglycerides which can cause high cholesterol.

- Very good source of protein, with 42 grams per serving.
- Contains only 5 grams of fat per serving.2
