Research Notes on Green Tea Delays Prostate Cancer
A new study reveals that a chemical found in green tea may slow down the progression of prostate cancer. EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is an extract from green tea that has antioxidant properties. This extract has been made into a capsule called Polyphenon E, which provides the equivalent of 3 cups of green tea.1

- Over 25 men between the ages of 41 to 72 were involved in this study.2
- Researchers are currently conducting a similar study with breast cancer patients.2
- This study appears in the journal Cancer Prevention Research.
