Golf is a sport in which a player, using many types of clubs including a driver, a putter, and irons, hits a ball into each hole on a golf course in the lowest possible number of strokes.1 Golf injuries often happen due to excessive twisting of the body, or too much force when hitting the ball.

- Common golf injuries are Golfer's Elbow, back pain, De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, Rotator Cuff Tendinitis, and knee pain.2
- Warm up activities such as flexibility exercise can help prevent soft tissue injuries.3
- In the U.S., there are approximately 5,000 people aged 35-54 had injuries caused by golf.4
