Research Notes on Glycopyrrolate
Glycopyrrolate is a medication used to help treat ulcers. It decreases stomach acid production by blocking certain chemical activities in the body. In addition to reducing stomach acid, it also can reduce the body's ability to sweat which can be dangerous in high temperatures.1
Fast Facts:
- Contact physician immediately if weakness or sexual function problems (impotence) occurs.2
- Common side effects include: dry mouth, headaches, dizziness and nausea and vomiting.3
- Marketed under the brand name of Robinul.
