Research Notes on Glutathione Deficiency
Glutathione deficiency is a rare disorder that prevents the production of the molecule glutathione. Glutathione's function in the body is to prevent damage to cells. Symptoms of severe glutathione deficiency include seizures, a physical slow-down of movements and speech, and a loss of coordination.1
