Ginseng and Cancer
This WisdomCard managed by: Nicole Kinsey
Ginseng is used to bolster physical and mental endurance, boost energy, normalize body functions, reduce cholesterol, and prevent cancer. It is an herbal remedy being promoted as a "tonic" to help relieve fatigue, improve performance, and overcome stress. Ginseng may prevent cancer by protecting the liver from the effects of drugs, alcohol, and toxins; minimizing cell damage from radiation; and increasing intestinal absorption of nutrients.
