Research Notes on Gene Therapy and Rheumatoid Arthritis
A new study revealed that gene therapy may reduce symptoms in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Rheumatoid arthritis develops when the immune system turns against itself, causing joints to become inflamed and swollen. Eventually, the joint's tissues may be destroyed.1
