Research Notes on Gene Therapy Could Slow Batten Disease
A new study shows that gene therapy had a positive effect in slowing down the progression of Batten Disease, also known as Late Infantile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (LINCL). This brain disorder is an autosomal recessive disease that is caused by mutations in the CLN2 gene.
