Research Notes on Fragrance Allergies
A fragrance allergy is also known as fragrance intolerance. It can be as mild as being intolerant of specifically heavy colognes and perfumes, or as severe as not being able to tolerate any type of scented product, including scented candles, cleaning products or air fresheners. Symptoms of a fragrance allergy can include sinus pressure, headaches, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes and nose, coughing, dizziness, and nausea.
