In some people, certain types of diet such as spicy or fatty food can trigger heartburn regularly. However, some foods such as lean meat, fat-free dairy products and multigrain bread are known to be “good foods” that may prevent heartburn. Fruits such as bananas and apples are also found to be helpful in relieving heartburn.
