Depending upon the type and severity of the foodborne illness, symptoms can develop within an hour, but may take up to three weeks to appear. E. Coli, Botulism, Hepatitis A, and Salmonella are just a few types of food poisoning and foodborne illnesses. These illnesses they can cause range from mild discomfort to debilitating illness and possibly death.
