Fluorouracil is a drug used in the treatment of various cancers, but mainly colorectal and pancreatic cancer.1 It is also used in ophthalmic surgery, and as a cream for treating actinic keratosis and some types of basal cell carcinomas.1 Side effects vary depending on the form of fluorouracil taken.
