Research Notes on Flonase Side Effects

As with any medication, there is a chance of experiencing side effects when using Flonase (fluticasone nasal). Side effects may include headache, back pain, minor nose bleed, menstrual problems, loss of interest in sex, sinus pain, cough, sore throat, and sores or white patches inside or around the nose. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience potentially serious side effects such as severe or ongoing nose bleed, sores in the nose that won't heal, vision problems, or flu symptoms.1 Flonase is used in the treatment of nasal symptoms caused by seasonal or year-round allergies.
