Research Notes on Flomax and Pregnancy

Flomax is not approved for use in women. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has labeled Flomax a category B drug, meaning that studies done in animals did not indicate any risk to the developing fetus.1 However, since Flomax is only for use in men there have been no tests in pregnant women.
