Research Notes on Fibromyalgia and Sleep Apnea
Fibromyalgia may increase an individuals risk of developing sleep apnea, and sleep apnea may also increase the risk of fibromyalgia. Sleep apnea, a condition in which a person temporarily stops breathing during sleep, often leaves sufferers feeling tired even after several hours of sleep. Fatigue is a common symptom of fibromyalgia.1
