Fibromyalgia and Exercise

Fibromyalgia patients can benefit from exercise. Exercise program will begin in aerobic/conditioning exercises such as walking, yoga or dancing. Patients are also advised to do stretching exercise of head and neck, arms and shoulders, back muscles, hip and thighs and leg and foot muscles. On the later part of the program, it is best to do strengthening exercises using weights, elastic rubbers and core muscles stabilization.
