Research Notes on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Photos
Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) is a disorder of irreversible birth defects that occurs in infants of women who drink alcohol during pregnancy. A characteristic pattern of mild facial anomalies such as small eye openings, thin upper lip and flattened nose are commonly seen in children with FAS.1 Below are some of photos of FAS in children.
