Research Notes on Female Condom
Female condoms are worn by women during intercourse for contraception and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. The most recent female condoms are made from natural latex, which is the same material used in male condoms. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is yet to approve the sale of female condoms in the United States pending a clinical trial.
