Research Notes on Fanconi's Anemia
Fanconi Anaemia is a rare disorder found in children that involves the blood and bone marrow. The symptoms include severe aplastic anemia, hypoplasia of the bone marrow, and patchy discoloration of the skin. This is an autosomal recessive condition, affected children usually develop severe aplastic anemia by age 8 to 9 years.
