Research Notes on Facial Skin Care
A good facial skin care regimen is important in order to keep your skin healthy. There are three basic skin types, oily, dry and combination skin. Oily skin has a shiny appearance and may be prone to acne and blackheads. Dry skin has a dry flaky appearance and may feel tight. Combination skin may be oily in the T-zone (across the forehead, nose and chin), but dry in the cheek area, eyes and neck.1
Fast Facts:
- The skin is the largest organ of the body.
- Exfoliating the skin works by removing the top layer of dead skin cells.2
- Moisturizers are essential to your skin health for all skin types.2
