Research Notes on Eye Cancer
Cancer of the eye is uncommon. There are several types of eye cancer. Early-stage eye cancers often have no symptoms--they are usually diagnosed during a routine eye exam. Age and sun exposure increase the risk of eye cancers. Eye cancers are more prevalent in blue eyes than in any other color. They are also more prevalent in Australia, due to the ozone hole.
