Research Notes on Erythema Multiforme
Erythema multiforme is an allergic reaction which can be due to many different causes. People of all ages are affected; however it is often more severe in children and young adults. It begins as a red rash on the palms, soles, and back of the hands. It can spread to the face the mouth and the trunk. It can also occur in the mouth. A fever and muscle aches can also accompany the rash.
