Research Notes on Erlotinib
Elotinib is a prescription medication that is sometimes used to treat certain types of cancer such as pancreatic and lung cancer.1 Erlotinib is generally not a first-line cancer treatment option, but is usually only used after other chemotherapy medications have failed to show results. Some serious side effects of erlotinib use may include: bloody or black/tarry stools, hives, fever, shortness of breath, and vision problems.2
