Research Notes on Epilepsy and Stomach Pain
Stomach pain may happen in an impending seizure attacks in people affected with epilepsy. It is sometimes called a “gastric aura”, described as a sudden abdominal pain before a seizure episode. It is often seen in simple partial type of seizure that may include nausea and vomiting.
