There has been some documented news about electric shock therapy being used for spider bite treatment. This therapy has been used for the treatment of a bite from the brown recluse spider. This spider measures 6-20 mm. and has markings on the dorsal side and cephalothorax. They are usually brown and sometimes a deep yellow color with a black line along the rear. Also called fiddleback spider, brown fiddler, or violin spider. They usually build their webs in woodpiles and sheds, closets, garages, cellar and other dry, undisturbed locations.
