Dysprosody is a rare neurological speech disorder that causes alteration in intensity, timing, rhythm, cadence, melody, and intonation of words. It may also be referred to as “pseudo-foreign dialect.” The cause of this disorder is associated with traumatic brain injuries, brain lesions, and vascular accidents.
