Research Notes on Dyscalculia
Dyscalculia is a learning disability characterized by the inability to perform basic math functions, such as remembering order of operations, multiplication tables and telling time. Malformation in the left hemisphere of the brain is believed to be the cause of dyscalculia. Dyscalculia is thought to effect as many as 5% of people and appears equally in males and females.
