Research Notes on Drug Resistant Flu Virus
A new study shows that most people suffering from the flu virus this season won't be helped by Tamiflu. Flu strains are growing a resistance to the drug and virus H1N1 is completely resistant. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that people use Relenza or rimantadine combined with Tamiflu.1

- H1N1's resistance drastically jumped from 12 percent during last year's flu season.2
- This flu strain is the most common type circulating the U.S.2
