He is also a Loeb Scholar in Pediatrics; current director of Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases; current vice-chair of Department of Pediatrics. He is also the Senior Scientist of the Department of Gene Therapy and Cancer Research and Training Center; Associate Director for Clinical Studies, Center for AIDS Research; Director, Center for Biodefense and Emerging Infections.1
