Anne Gershon, MD, is president-elect of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). She is currently director of the division of pediatric infectious diseases and professor of pediatrics at Columbia University in New York. She is attending physician at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian. She served on the IDSA Awards Committee and was Chair of the IDSA Research Committee.1
