Research Notes on Diovan Dosage
The recommended dosage of Diovan will vary, based on each specific patient, and what it is being utilized to treat. For the treatment of congestive heart failure, the initial dose is typically 40 mg, taken twice daily. For those suffering from high blood pressure, the starting Diovan dosage is either 80 mg or 160 mg, administered once a day. The dose following a heart attack is 20 mg, taken two times a day.1
