Research Notes on Diflunisal Dosage
Diflunisal dosage depends on the condition being treated. For the treatment of mild to moderate pain, the typical starting dose is 1000 mg, followed by 500 mg every 12 hours. If diflunisal is used to treat osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, the recommended dose is generally 250 mg to 500 mg taken twice a day.1
