Dicyclomine is a drug used in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Commonly sold under the name Bentyl, this drug is functions as a muscle relaxer. Specifically, dicyclomine is used to reduce the contraction of the muscles in the intestines, preventing spasms.
