Research Notes on Diabetic Dermatitis
Diabetes affects the small blood vessels causing light brown, scaly, oval/circular patches especially on the front of both legs. This is called diabetic dermopathy. These patches do not itch, hurt or cause the skin to open up. No treatment is needed as this is harmless.
