Research Notes on Detrusitol
Detrusitol (tolterodine) is used to treat overactive bladder.1 Detrusitol is a muscle relaxant that works by relaxing the muscles in the wall of the bladder.1 If you have kidney disease, liver disease, or heart disease, let your doctor know before using Detrusitol.2
Fast Facts:
- Detrusitol should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.2
- Possible side effects of using Detrusitol include dry mouth, indigestion, and abdominal pain.1
- You should not use Detrusitol if you are currently taking erythromycin, ketoconazole, or itraconazole.2
