Research Notes on Dermatitis
Dermatitis is a term meaning inflammation of the skin.1 Dermatitis includes a wide variety of skin disorders, including atopic dermatitis, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, latex allergy, and dyshidrotic dermatitis.2 Most types of dermatitis are an allergic reaction to specific allergens.3 Depending on the cause, dermatitis can be short-term or life-long.2
