Research Notes on Depression Types
Many people are not aware that there are different types of depression. The severity of the depression and the symptoms dictate the type of depression.1 Major depression, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder are the most common types of depression.2 Common symptoms of depression are insomnia, fatigue, and restlessness.3 Depression can be a constant presence in the lives of sufferers for a few months to years.1
