Depakote (divalproex) warnings and precautions include avoiding use in those with liver disease, urea cycle disorder, and blood disorders. You should inform your health care provider if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before taking Depakote. You should also inform your health care provider of all medications including supplements you are currently taking.1
