Research Notes on Depakote Side Effects
Depakote (divalproex) side effects may include diarrhea, constipation, hair loss, vision changes, anxiety, depression, and an unpleasant taste in your mouth. More serious side effects may include unexplained weakness, fainting, easy bruising, hallucinations, and double vision. If any of these serious side effects occur you should inform your health care provider.1
