Research Notes on Delusions
Delusions are irrational thoughts or feelings that are not based on reality.1 They are a form of psychosis and sometimes occur with other mental disorders.1 Delusions can fall into the categories of paranoia, grandiose, or somatic.2 People with this condition can become obsessed with the notion that they are being followed, someone is out to get them or believe that they are romantically involved with someone they've never met.3
