Research Notes on Delavirdine
Delavirdine is a reverse transcriptase inhibitor drug used in the treatment of HIV.1 Because it is typically prescribed to be administered three times a day, it is less convenient than other antiretroviral drugs and is generally not considered for initial treatment regimens.1 While undergoing delavirdine therapy, report any sign of severe skin rash to physician immediately.2
